Hello everyone. Thank you for reading this article. I’m Shogo, the manager of this website and the interpreter/instructor at Yushikan Kyoto’s Samurai Training Activity/Yushin Ryu Online Lessons.
As of January 2025, I, Shogo, will be stepping down from my role as the interpreter/manager for Yushinkan Kyoto’s Samurai Training Activity and Yushin Ryu Online Lessons. I have been involved in establishing Kyoto’s Samurai Training Activity and Yushin Ryu Online Lessons, and have worked tirelessly alongside Yushin Sensei and Osayo Senpai to expand these ventures. However, moving forward, I plan to focus on promoting more aspects of Japanese traditional culture, such as men’s kimono and Noh theater, to the world.
After I resign, Jordan, who holds the Shodan rank in Yushin Ryu, will take over as interpreter and manager. Jordan is a dedicated student who travels from the UK to Kyoto twice a year to train for several weeks, and he has earned Yushin Sensei’s deep trust. He will lead the training activity/online lessons with great responsibility, so I ask for your continued support and encouragement.
